The frequency of these crashes has generally gone down over time as CCP finds and fixes bugs in the node software, but the latest major expansion pack &#8211; Dominion &#8211; seems to have dramatically increased the rate of node crashes. Crashes are nearly always the result of lots of people being in one system at the same time. These crashes often short-circuit large fleet battles.
