Goonfleet, Goonswarm, and Band of Brothers basically exist only for Karttoon and his alts to launder money and sell stolen assets.

ok, back to goonswarm and where they are headed, goons is basically redeploying to their old home, syndicate, to where they can rebuild themselves; as for what they are going to do after that is unclear, some say they are going to help the NC against whatever they are up to, others say another strike against bob…

as for CVA and their fight in providence, now that -A- and Atlas are now finished with goons (at least in delve), it’s just a matter of time…

I really don’t have a good sense of what makes regions fall. Providence is about to change hands, I think, but it’s so far away I don’t know anything about how or why that’s happening. But I think what, above all, wins and loses regions is commitment. For all the Goons’ various issues, they’ve always had a very dedicated player base because of the Something Awful connection. They’re not playing the same game we are. I think this gives them quite a bit of resilience. So I think they’ll return as a major force, but it’s probably going to be a little while (I’d say at least a month, probably 2-3, barring significant support from NC) before they hold space again. As for whether or not they retake Delve, I have my doubts. They won it through espionage, not a fight. They lost it without a fight, too. So Delve hasn’t changed hands through straight combat in a really long time. Whether the Goons will finally pull that off remains to be seen.
